SudokuWoo ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices and rights you have. SudokuWoo is a single-player Sudoku game: you do not create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or contact details to play.

Information stored on your device

Your gameplay lives on your device. We save the following locally so the app works and remembers your progress:

• Game progress, saved puzzles, and statistics
• App settings and chosen theme
• Your coin balance and which items you have unlocked
• Ad-frequency and daily-bonus timing so the experience stays fair

This data stays on your device and is included in your encrypted device/iCloud backup if you have one enabled. We do not upload it to our own servers.

Information collected by third parties

Some features rely on Apple and Google services that may collect data under their own privacy policies:

• Purchases — In-app purchases (coins and "Remove Ads") are processed by Apple. We receive a confirmation that a purchase succeeded, but never your payment card or billing details.
• Advertising — We use Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob may collect a device identifier (such as the IDFA), approximate usage, and ad-interaction data to deliver and measure ads. With your permission it may use this for personalised ads; without permission you still see non-personalised ads.
• Game Center — If you use leaderboards or achievements, Apple's Game Center handles that data under Apple's privacy policy.

How we use information

We use the information above only to:

• Run the game and save your progress, settings, and purchases
• Show and measure ads, and let you remove forced ads
• Deliver in-app purchases and restore them across your devices
• Keep the app secure and diagnose problems

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles ourselves.

Advertising & tracking choices

On first launch (or before a relevant ad), iOS asks whether SudokuWoo may track you across apps and websites — this is Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.

• If you allow tracking, ads may be personalised using your device identifier.
• If you decline, you still see ads, but they are non-personalised.

You can change this anytime in iOS Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Tracking. Buying "Remove Ads" stops all forced ads; optional reward ads remain available only if you choose to watch them.

Children's privacy

SudokuWoo is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention & deletion

Because gameplay data is stored on your device, deleting the app removes it. You can also reset progress within the app where that option is offered.

For data handled by Apple or Google (purchases, advertising identifiers, Game Center), manage or delete it through your Apple ID settings and Google's ad settings, or contact us and we will help direct your request.

Data security

We rely on the security protections built into iOS, including app sandboxing and device encryption. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we keep on-device data to the minimum needed to run the game.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal information. We honour these rights regardless of your location.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland (GDPR), you may:

• Access the personal data we hold and request a copy
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Withdraw consent (for example, ad tracking) at any time
• Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority

If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA), you may:

• Know what personal information is collected and how it is used
• Request deletion or correction of your personal information
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — note that we do not sell your personal information
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

International users

SudokuWoo can be used worldwide. Where data is processed by Apple or Google, it may be handled in countries other than your own, subject to their respective privacy frameworks and safeguards.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, noted in the app.
